Born on January 5th, 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Deepika Padukone is an Indian film actress and model. She is the daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone and was mainly raised in Bangalore, Karnataka. She had completed her ICSE board examinations from Sophia High School, Bangalore and completed her pre university studies from Mount Carmel College. She played badminton in the national level championships during her teenage, but she had let go her sports career in pursuit of becoming a fashion model.
